The nature of the service
TaxHisab is an income tax estimation tool for individual taxpayers in Bangladesh. It is not tax advice, accounting or a legal service, and calculating here does not file an income tax return. The site is not connected to the National Board of Revenue or any government body. The limits of the calculation are set out in the Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
Free to use
The quick and detailed calculators and PDF downloads are free and need no account. If paid extras are introduced in future, their terms will be stated separately; the free calculators will stay free.
Your responsibilities
- To give accurate information. The result depends on the information you provide.
- To check the result yourself before filing a return or paying tax, and to take professional advice where needed.
- To use the site only for lawful purposes.
What is not allowed
- Sending requests at an abnormal rate with automated programs, or disrupting the normal running of the site.
- Attempting to break or bypass the site's security measures.
- Presenting a TaxHisab result or PDF as an NBR document, an assessment order or proof of having filed a return.
To prevent abuse we may limit the rate of requests or block access.
Intellectual property
The site's design, text, logo and software are the property of TaxHisab. Tax rules and rates are public information; we claim nothing over them. You may freely use the results and PDFs of your own calculations for your personal needs.
No guarantee of service
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the site will always be available, be free of errors, or cover every taxpayer's situation. When the rules for an assessment year cannot be confirmed, the calculator is deliberately switched off.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, TaxHisab will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, penalty, interest or additional tax arising from reliance on calculations on this site.

What information the site takes and how it is kept is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to the terms and governing law
We may update these terms from time to time; changed terms take effect from the day they are published on this page. These terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of Bangladesh.
