How much DPS counts for the tax rebate?

For assessment year 2026-27, instalments paid into a DPS or monthly savings scheme count for the rebate up to ৳1,20,000 a year. Anything paid above that is not counted.
How much tax it saves
10% of the counted amount comes off your tax, but the total rebate from all eligible investments never exceeds 3% of total income or ৳7,50,000. The full rule: how the rebate is worked out.
